In response, the Medical Commission of the International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation (UIAA) has published its official standards regarding “Adventure Travel and the COVID-19 Pandemic”. It outlines the specific challenges and risks associated with travel in the COVID-19 era, as well as discussing possible strategies to mitigate against these risks.
